Suspect sought in Olympic Boulevard convenience store robbery

LOS ANGELES (KNX) –Los Angeles police are searching for a suspect who robbed a convenience store.

It happened Sept. 13 around 1 a.m. in the 1800 block of W. Olympic Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department said.


Surveillance footage shared by police showed the suspect entering the store wearing a black mask, a hooded grey and blue Dodgers jacket, black pants, and white shoes.

The man waited in line for a few moments before he approached the counter and pulled out a gun from his pocket. He was seen firing a shot over the counter and waving the gun around.

“The suspect demanded the employees to fill a bag with money,” police said. “The suspect fired a second shot over the counter and fled the location on foot with the bag of money."

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, around 24 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes.
