A 13-year-old girl who was critically wounded in a South Los Angeles shooting has died in a hospital, authorities said Monday.

The shooting occurred at 7:30 p.m. Friday at 713 E. 108th St., according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman. The nearest cross street is Stanford Avenue.
The girl was taken by ambulance to a hospital where she was listed as critical but stable, he said.
She died from her wound Sunday, the spokesman said.
The LAPD reported Friday that the girl was shot in the head.
Suspect information was not available.
