Thieves break into Pacific Palisades home twice in 7 hours

A home was burglarized twice within seven hours in Pacific Palisades late Saturday and early Sunday.

The home is located on Embury St. KTLA reported the first burglary happened around 10 p.m. Saturday when thieves got into the home through a second story window. The second burglary happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday when thieves smashed a sliding glass door on the first floor.

The Los Angeles Police Department said they believe the same people were involved in both break ins.

One neighbor told the outlet the area is generally safe, which may have put a target on them because people in the neighborhood may not be as on guard.
