Several bronze plaques have been stolen from different monuments and tributes in the San Pedro area.
Fencing was installed in the area along Harbor Boulevard, where the thefts were happening.
There has also been an increase of police patrols working to stop these thefts and police are investigating them.
There’s recently been multiple cases in the L.A. area of stolen bronze plaques. On Jan. 15, over 100 were stolen from the Compton cemetery.
