Turkish consulate members attacked on USC campus: suspect sought

Authorities sought the public's help Monday in identifying four men who allegedly pushed, punched, kicked and threw water at three Turkish Consulate members on the USC campus.

On Sept. 29, at about 2:25 p.m., the consulate members were walking through the campus at Downey Way and Watt Way after a planned event when the men, who were part of a group of protesters, "approached the victims, yelled derogatory statements and physically attacked them," the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

The suspects fled the area and the victims fled to safety, police said.
