Two men arrested in Beverly Hills robbery

BEVERLY HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Police arrested two suspects in connection to a Beverly Hills robbery.

On Tuesday at 5:10 a.m., Beverly Hills Police responded to a residence in the 700 block of North Camden Drive regarding an armed robbery.

That afternoon, police arrested Anthony Avila, 42, during a traffic stop. The second suspect, Charles Chiodo, 34, was arrested following a search warrant at his residence.

Detectives found pieces of evidence inside Chiodo’s residence that linked him to the robbery.

Both Chiodo and Avila were charged with robbery; however, Chiodo was also charged with conspiracy.
