The incident happened near Florence Avenue and San Pedro Street, according to KABC. The vendor was placed outside Aranda's Car Wash.

Video shared by the news station showed a suspect in a black jacket and hat approaching a vendor with a gun, appearing to demand money. A struggle then ensued between the suspect and another vendor who tried to intervene before the suspects leave.

The first victim, identified as David Jimenez - who works at Tacos Arandas – said he recognized the suspect, telling the station he was a customer.

The suspect then hit Jimenez with the gun. After Jimenez gave the suspect money, another vendor – identified as Pablo Briones, went over to stop the robbery. That’s when the suspect shot Briones in the foot.

“The bullet broke into two pieces and I have both of the bullet pieces in my foot. They couldn't take them out, it's in there," Briones told ABC 7.

The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, was arrested Sunday.
