Authorities are investigating a vandalism spree at Malibu High School that was believed to have been done by a group of current and former students.
It happened late Monday night or early Tuesday morning and involved a group of 40 to 50 people. Video obtained by the Santa Monica Mirror showed the damage, which included graffiti, eggs and flour thrown everywhere, doors being glued shut, and broken furniture.
The outlet reported that the damage forced classes to relocate on Tuesday to places like the library and the gym.
Superintendent Dr. Antonio Shelton said in a statement that repairs for the damage are projected to amount to tens of thousands of dollars.

“We expect our students to act as responsible members of our community, especially in the week leading up to graduation — this act of vandalism not only defaces our campus, but also jeopardizes the possibility of an in-person graduation ceremony at the school,” the statement continued.
