A charity is holding a virtual garage sale starting at 10:00 a.m. Friday to benefit music industry workers whose jobs evaporated because there are no live concerts during the pandemic.
The non-profit group "Musically Fed" will sell rare and signed concert posters from artists including Adele, Eminem, Phish, Gwen Stefani, Blink-182 and more. The posters will range in price from about $25 to $350 and proceeds, along with partnership donations from Insomniac Events Park N’ Rave drive-in concert series in San Bernardino and Chula Vista, the money raised will help to provide food for music workers in need during a drive-thru food distribution event in Los Angeles on Saturday, Dec. 19.
Musically Fed is a Phoenix-based non-profit, that typically feeds thousands of unsheltered people, families and military veterans in need each year. They use the excess food from major concert tours and festivals across the country.
"The Great Rock ‘N’ Roll Garage Sale" runs online only through midnight on Sunday.
