Warmer weather is expected in Southern California this weekend, with offshore flow increasing over the next few days and bringing above-normal temperatures.
Forecasters said highs will be in the 70s and lower 80s by the weekend.

Offshore flow will begin increasing Thursday night, slowly pushing temperatures upward. Acording to the National Weather Service, Los Angeles County coasts and valleys will see between 3 and 6 degrees of warming by Friday.
The flow will continue to get stronger into Saturday, with "advisory level winds" possible in the Santa Clarita Valley and other northern county areas.
The windy and warm conditions will also likely drive down humidity levels, possibly creating "briefly critical fire weather conditions," forecasters said. Humidity levels could fall as low as 8% by Saturday in some areas.
A cooldown is expected by Sunday as onshore conditions return, dropping temperatures along the coast. But above-normal highs are expected to persist in the valleys, mountains and interior areas, forecasters said.
Potentially strong Santa Ana winds are possible by Tuesday, according to the NWS.
