CARSON, Calif. (KNX) — A woman was struck by deputy gunfire Wednesday afternoon in Carson, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were called around 1 p.m. to the 2600 block of East Dominguez Street for a reported family disturbance, authorities said.

A woman was wounded by deputy gunfire, according to Deputy Grace Medrano, though it was not clear what led up to the shooting.
The woman’s condition was not immediately known, according to Medrano. No deputies were injured in the shooting, she added.
