LAWNDALE (CNS) - Sheriff's detectives Monday asked the public for help locating a 77-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease and dementia who went missing from Lawndale.

Wilda Concepcion Araiza was last seen at 1 p.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of West 159th Street, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

She is Hispanic, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, wearing a black and white striped long-sleeve shirt, black pants and silver rings.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
