MIAMI (KNX) — First responders rushed three people to hospitals after a plane's landing gear caught on fire while arriving at Miami International Airport on Tuesday.
The Red Air SRL 203 plane flew into MIA from the Dominican Republic around 5:30 p.m.

The island-based airline reported 140 souls on board, including 10 crew members. However, a spokesperson for the stateside airport said there were 126 total people on the plane. It's unclear why there is a discrepancy.
Everyone on the plane had been identified and accounted for, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said.
The fire department responded within a minute, dousing the plane with foam and assisting passengers escaping through emergency exits. Other units worked to mitigate fuel spilling from the aircraft.
Cellphone videos taken from multiple vantage points show the plane skidding across the runway before it quickly bursts into flames. The impact damaged the left wing, and part of the plane could be spotted in the grass alongside the runway.
The National Transportation Safety Board said a team would arrive in Miami on Wednesday to investigate the crash in coordination with the Dominican Civil Aviation Institute.
