As people continue to find new uses for artificial intelligence, are there still some tasks that are too personal to cede to a CPU? The answer is rapidly shifting to “no” for many people.

And apparently that extends even to public displays of romance.

A new poll shows that engaged couples are trying to streamline the process of getting married wherever they can, and it seems that includes writing their wedding vows.

The wedding planning site Zola spoke with nearly 6,000 engaged couples about what tasks they wish to make easier when getting hitched, and one of the report’s biggest surprises arguably is that 51% of respondents said they’d let A.I. write their vows.

One would hope that none of the couples themselves were split 50-50 on letting a robot check that off their to-do list.

Among the other revelations in the report: The average cost of a wedding this year is expected to hit an all-time high of $36,000, and 74% of couples are OK with going over budget.
