Despite the state's growing population, a pair of new surveys indicates Texas is not as great a state to live in.
A new survey from Pink Storage ranked Texas as the 6th worst state to live in. The survey centered around a number of factors including the economy, in which Texas ranked 6th worst in.
In other areas, Childcare was 32nd, crime saw the Lone-Star state rank 9th, and tied with California, Idaho, and Alaska for 8th worst in housing options.
