Research that is part of what is thought to be the largest-ever study on narcissism has found that, overall, older generations are more sensitive than younger ones. Contrary to popular belief, baby boomers are, in fact, way more sensitive than their younger counterparts the millennials!
Though "hypersensitivity" sharply declines after a person turns 40, researchers found that overall, older generations were more sensitive than younger generations.
William Chopik, a social-personality psychologist at Michigan State University and a co-author of the study, says these revelations are due to the conditions of the time when boomers were growing up.
He told Insider Mag, "baby boomers may be more narcissistic than other generations because they grew up in a time when the government provided privileges like social security.
There is a larger case study thats done outside of this that came to the same conclusions; its called working in retail or food services. https://t.co/owa7raoqfH
