New polling shows that President Joe Biden’s approval rating has hit a new low of 37%.

CNN’s poll results were released Wednesday. They showed the percentage of respondents who approved of the job Biden is doing slipped to 37%. That’s the lowest recorded by CNN polling since March 2021.

These latest surveys were obtained from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30, from 1,795 respondents. Data from past surveys showed that the next lowest approval rating was 38% last summer.

Gallup polling also recorded 37% as Biden’s lowest approval rating. Its records show that his rating has fallen that low three times, most recently this November.

Poll results released this week from CNN showed that approval ratings for Biden’s handling of the economy (33%), helping the middle class (35%) and crime (36%) were even lower than his overall approval rating. At 42%, respondents said that the economy is the top issue facing Americans today.

High inflation and high interest rates have put pressure on Americans even as the country leaves some of the economic challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in the past.

Biden’s environmental policy approval rating was higher at 43%. Different poll results released by CNN Friday found that a majority of U.S. adults and half of Republicans agreed with Biden’s goal to slash climate pollution.

Gallup said in October that the Democrat party’s approval rating dropped by 11 points to 75%, lowest of Biden’s presidency. Overall, Gallup said Biden’s approval rating has been around 43%.
