A new book sheds light on alleged "inappropriate" and "dangerously close" relationships between Trump family members and U.S. Secret Service agents assigned to protect them.

The two relationships are reported to have taken place while Donald Trump was president, according to a copy of "Zero Fail: The Rise and Fall of the Secret Service" obtained by The Guardian.

Carol Loenning of The Washington Post wrote the book.

The book claims that Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, "started dating one of the agents who had been assigned to her family" and the involved agent "did not face disciplinary action, as neither he nor the agency were official guardians of Vanessa Trump at that point."

The couple divorced in March 2018.

Tiffany Trump, the former president’s daughter with his second wife, is alleged to have spent "an unusual amount of time alone with a Secret Service agent on her detail" after breaking up with a boyfriend. Secret Service leaders "became concerned at how close Tiffany appeared to be getting to the tall, dark and handsome agent," the book said.

That agent was reportedly reassigned.

Both Tiffany Trump and the agent deny the claim.

As such feelings could cloud judgment, Secret Service agents are prohibited from forming personal relationships with those they’re assigned to protect.

While it’s not clear if then-President Trump knew of the alleged relationships, the book asserts he repeatedly sought to have overweight agents removed from his detail: "I want these fat guys off my detail. How are they going to protect me and my family if they can’t run down the street?"

The book is expected to be released next Tuesday.
