Britney Spears’ recently appointed attorney filed court documents requesting to name a new conservator of her estate, Northern Public Radio reported.
Attorney Matthew Rosengart petitioned the court to name Jason Rubin as Spears’ new conservator, making financial decisions on her behalf instead of her father, Jamie Spears. The petition also requested Jamie Spears be removed from his role as a conservator altogether.

In the request, Spears’ lawyer asks the court to grant Rubin full power of attorney, giving him the ability to make healthcare and financial decisions “not limited to performing, recording, videos, tours, TV shows, and other similar activities.”
The filing also disclosed Britney Spears’ financial portfolio: $2.7 million in cash and more than $56 million in investments and real estate.
Although the judge ordered Britney’s current conservator “of person” to keep her role through early October, the judge approved the withdrawal of Bessemer Trust as a co-conservator in the case.
