DALLAS (KLUV) — On Monday, Miles in the Morning talked about how ridiculous it was that people actually cheat at Wordle.

You're not competing against anything or anyone other than yourself, so what's the point of cheating on a game that only benefits, and is only detrimental to yourself?

However, since the game's acquisition by the New York Times, cheating on the game has risen 196%. "Cheating for the game is at an all-time high and only growing," says the The New York Post.

The data was found by analyzing “Google Trends data over the past three months” to see how often players looked up answers online.

And per the study, the state of New Hampshire has cheated on the game the most, with Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Massachusetts rounding out the top five.
