CHICAGO, Ill. (WBBM) — Chipotle Mexican Grill will be handing out 100,000 free burritos in conjunction with National Burrito Day on Thursday, April 7. But you’ll have to do a little work for them.
The restaurant franchise is teaming with the Roblox video game for the promotion that urges players to roll their own burritos in the game.
The Chipotle Burrito Builder is a “new simulation experience that will challenge players to roll burritos in the metaverse to earn Burrito Bucks,” according to a press release from Chipotle.
An entrée code that works in the Chipotle app and is good for one free burrito will be the prize for the first 100,000 players who roll their own Roblox burrito successfully.
The codes will be valid through April 13 in the U.S. and Canada.
