You can now get a COVID-19 test without even leaving the house.
Same-day food delivery service DoorDash is teaming up with two digital health companies, Vault Health and Everlywell, to bring customers a nasal or saliva swab test kit to their homes.
According to the company, customers will have to use the DoorDash app, find Dashmart, and order the mail-in kit. They say you can expect it to be delivered the same day that you order it.
All you have to do it take the test, and mail it back.
The at-home test kit rollout is expected within the coming months through 12 Dashmart locations, which includes Dallas and Houston, Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Minneapolis, and Phoenix.
The Everylywell nasal swab kit costs $109, the Vault Health saliva kit is $119.
Both are available for reimbursement through your insurance and both have been FDA approved.
