LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Two new recalls will affect thousands of owners of Ford SUVs and trucks, according to a new report about oil leaks and trailer braking systems.
Reuters reports the Ford Motor Company is recalling 737,000 of the vehicles over the part that could lead to leaks developing and the software error that could hinder the braking system.

More than 345,000 of its Ford Escape vehicles in model years 2020-2022 and Ford Bronco Sport in model years 2021-2022 with 1.5L engines are affected.
The oil leak reportedly is caused by a crack that leads to oil leaking onto engine parts and causing a fire hazard.
Ford said at least eight fires related to the issue had been reported, according to Reuters, not no injuries or crashes have ocurred.
The braking systems affected are in Ford's Maverick, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, F-250, F-350-F-450 and F-550 models, the news outlet reported.
Owners should expect to be notified by the motor company around April 18.
