Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz has been under fire after saying women who are pro-choice are too ugly to get pregnant.
The comments have resulted in some unexpected voices firing back at the Florida Republican, calling his words "hideous."
Gaetz made his comments during a Turning Point USA event on Saturday night, and many have taken offense to his harsh words.

"Why is it that the women with the least likelihood of getting pregnant are the ones most worried about having abortions?" Gaetz said. "Nobody wants to impregnate you if you look like a thumb."
Linking to a video of Gaetz's speech on Twitter, Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, called out the Representative.
"SHAME on [Matt Gaetz] for this hideous comment," Dannenfelser wrote on Twitter.
Gaetz is currently under a federal investigation for sex trafficking and didn't hold back after his first comments, going as far as to say pro-choice protestors wouldn't even be able to walk in a protest.
"I'm thinking, march? You look like you've got ankles weaker than the legal reasoning behind Roe V. Wade," Gaetz said. "A few of them need to get up and march. They need to get up and march for like an hour a day, swing those arms, get the blood pumping, maybe mix in a salad."
Gaetz does have an "A+ rating from the Susan B. Anthony List," and a spokesman for the lawmaker shared with Business Insider that he is "proud" to have it.
