Halloween is almost upon us, which means people are thinking about candy more than usual – from the ideal time to purchase trick-or-treat offerings that won’t get devoured too early to debates about candy corn.

Are you wondering what type of candy might be in highest demand around your area this spooky season? Well, Candystore.com conducted a survey to determine the most popular treats in every state.

Reese’s peanut butter cups are the most beloved nationwide, and even candy corn made the top 10 list. Louisiana was one of the states with a favorite that wasn’t in the top 10, Lemonheads.

Here’s the full list:

Overall, candy sales are expected to increase 15% this year compared to 2022, reaching over $12.2 billion. Part of the reason could be high inflation causing an increase in prices.
