Martha Stewart gracing the cover of a magazine is old news...until now.

At the age of 81, Stewart will become the oldest cover model in history when she appears on the front of Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit issue!

Stewart said during an appearance on the TODAY show, “To be on the cover (at) my age was a challenge. And I think I met the challenge.

“I think that all of us should think about good living, successful living and not about aging.  The whole aging thing is so boring.”

Stewart joins fellow 2023 cover models Megan Fox, Kim Petras, and Brooks Nader.

SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day said, “There is no theme [to this year’s issue]—rather, there is a vision, a sentiment, a hope that women can live in a world where they feel no limitations, internally or externally, but the absence of a theme is not to say that [these women] don’t share certain common traits. They’re constantly evolving.”
