LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Think Pat Sajak can’t be surprised anymore when it comes to “Wheel of Fortune?” Think again.
Even after 40-plus years of lording over the giant spinning wheel, host Sajak still gets game show goosebumps.

This week for the first time in the game’s history, two contestants won the $100,000 grand prize in the bonus round on two consecutive nights. And Sajak was floored.
On Monday, contestant Lisa Kramer took home the $100,000 bonus on her way to a grand total of $116,700 in winnings, reported Yahoo Entertainment.
The next night, Sajak referenced the amazing feat by proclaiming, “On yesterday's show, we gave $100,000 in the bonus round. I checked the rules. It can happen two days in a row. Nothing says you can't do that.”
And as if on Sajak’s cue, contestant Mark Baer went and won the $100,000 bonus prize on his way to his grand total of $126,550 in winnings!
Sajak could only shake his head and respond in his subtly funny manner, “It's never happened. And wouldn't you know it, I just sold all my confetti stock.... There's always something new around here, isn't there? That's incredible.”

Many a WOF fan took to Twitter to commiserate about the unprecedented double win.
“For the first time in Wheel of Fortune we got ourselves back to back $100,000 winners this week guys!” cheered one commenter.
Former WOF champ Robert Santoli – or “WheelRob” as his Twitter handle goes – excitedly clarified the historic situation: “TWO IN A ROW for the first time ever in @WheelofFortune History!! We've never even had two $100K wins in the SAME WEEK before. We HAVE had the $100K hit twice in a row before, but they were never both wins.”
One fan even hilariously expressed concern for the show’s economic health and tweeted: “Wheel of Fortune just gave out $100k two days in a row, get ready for some crazy words the next few days or else they’re gonna run out of money.”
Now that’s something Pat Sajak really hasn’t seen… yet.
