DALLAS (KLUV) — A woman in northern Canada keeps having to replace her Rudolph lawn decoration because a group of ruffians keep knocking it down.

And it's not a group of youths running around. No, it's a group of real, actual deer who are apparently threatened by the decoration.

Arlene Chmelyk told the CBC, "Every year a buck in the area attacks him or hits and knocks him over and breaks him."

The decoration, which is actually a 3D archery target, has taken quite the beating over the years. Rudolph has lost his head, legs and other body parts, which are then glued on again for another Christmas season.

But still, Chmelyk says Rudolph is resilient and will continue to shine brightly for years to come. "He's standing proud," she says.
