NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Rudy Giuliani arrived at Atlanta's Fulton County Jail Wednesday shortly before 3 p.m. EST to surrender on charges connected to alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Sidney Powell, who also is facing charges she attempted to overturn the election, also surrendered herself.

Donald Trump previously said he will surrender on Thursday. The former U.S. president, like Giuliani, is among 19 people facing the aforementioned charges.

Giuliani's lawyers will met with the Fulton County District Attorney's office earlier Wednesday to finalize a bond package before a surrender.
