Every year for the past four decades, Spirit Halloween stores have magically appeared in empty retail properties, like a beacon for spooky season.
This year, a record 1,500 Spirit locations are expected to haunt storefronts across the U.S. and Canada and the company is looking for employees to help run them – 40,000 of them.

That discount will apply to the stores’ stock of “latest trends in costumes, décor, animatronics,” and more. Spirit also said employees should expect a fast-paced environment “where every team member contributes to creating a unique and memorable experience for in-store guests,” and helps “cultivate a culture built on respect, integrity, and a community of giving back.”
Spirit is the largest Halloween retailer in the country. Its stores are up seasonally for the Halloween season, but some locations open as early as July.
