In a recall notice posted by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, it was shared that the paint on the ornaments was not fully dry before it was packaged, which could result in mold growing on them.

The recalled ornaments feature a Cad Bane figurine wearing a brown hat, jacket, and pants, with a blue face and hands. The ornaments were sold at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and online from September through October 2024.

Exposure to mold can result in respiratory issues. No injuries have been reported at this time, though 16 consumers have reported instances of their ornaments having mold on them.

Those who have purchased the ornaments are advised to return them for a refund and not to use them.
