LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Singer Adele broke down in tears Thursday as she shared the news that she has had to postpone her Las Vegas residency indefinitely, as her production team has hit several barriers in getting the show prepared in time.

"Listen I'm so sorry but my show ain't ready," Adele said in a tweeted video. We've tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together on time, and for it to be good enough for you but we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID."

In reference to COVID-19's impact on the show, Adele said half her crew had been infected with the virus and many were still out because of it — making it "impossible" to finish the show.

"I can't give you what I have right now and I'm gutted. I'm gutted and I'm sorry its so last minute," the artist continued, tears welling in her eyes.

"We've been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out and we've run out of time and I'm so upset and I'm really embarrassed and so sorry to everyone that's traveled again."

Adele's Vegas residency, "Weekends With Adele" was set to begin Friday at the Colosseum of Caesars Palace Hotel and run through April. So far the venue has not commented.

As she wrapped her message to fans, Adele promised that all dates would be rescheduled and that her team was already on top of it.

"I'm gonna get it to where its supposed to be. I'm so sorry, it's been impossible," she said, visibly upset.

"We've been up against so much and it just ain't ready. I'm really sorry...I'm sorry."
