Toby Keith has revealed he’s been secretly battling stomach cancer for the last six months and undergoing treatment.

The 60-year-old Country star shared the news with fans via Twitter this weekend writing he was diagnosed last fall and has since received treatment via chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. He now says he is needing time to “breathe, recover and relax.”
“Last fall I was diagnosed with stomach cancer,” he shared. “I’ve spent the last 6 months receiving chemo, radiation, and surgery. So far, so good.”
He continued, “I need time to breathe, recover and relax. I am looking forward to spending this time with my family, but I will see the fans sooner than later. I can’t wait.”
