Former President Trump and former first lady Melania Trump launched a website Monday in an effort to preserve the “magnificent legacy of the Trump Administration,” as 45office.com states.
In addition to highlighting the former president and first lady’s biographies, the new site may serve as a sort of ad hoc social platform, as Melania Trump maintains her social media accounts, but the former president has been banned from most of his.
The new site welcomes people to "share your thoughts" via submission forms, noting that the Trump’s both "enjoy hearing from the American people."
Of course, the new site touts the former president’s accomplishments while he served.
On the issue of immigration, the site reads: “President Trump achieved the most secure border in United States history and signed a series of historic agreements with our partners in the Western Hemisphere to stop smuggling, trafficking, and illegal migration.”
On his handling of the coronavirus, the site reads: “President Trump acted early and decisively to ban travel from China and Europe, which saved countless lives.”
And on national and international security, the site states: “As President, he was an unwavering champion for our Nation's heroes in uniform. He always stood proudly with our Nation's extraordinary and courageous police officers, sheriffs, and law enforcement professionals.”
