A popular social media app left some users frustrated after it went down on Thursday afternoon.
Users on short-form video app TikTok reported issues around 1 p.m. eastern time, according to Downdetector. Outage reports peaked at 26,537.
The website added that 48 percent of the problems that were issued are regarding the app, 33 percent had to do with the server, and 19 percent had to do with the login.
One user tweeted that the app showed they had zero followers and asked for their birthday information again.

KNX 1070 tested the app around 12:00 p.m. pacific time and it appears the app is working again.
