A Nevada woman is in custody after allegedly killing two members of her family, then calling 911 to report the murders and confess.
Mashenka Reid, 17, reportedly told the Reno 911 dispatch, “I just couldn’t resist the urge to shoot somebody.”
The Reno Police Department reports responding officers found Reid’s father and 5-year-old brother shot dead in the family’s home.
They also found Reid’s mother and sister alive and hiding in a locked bedroom.

Reid has been charged as an adult with two counts of open murder and an additional count of attempted murder.
Police have withheld the names of the victims.
