The NBA suspended its season as players for the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder were quarantined at an arena after Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus.
The league revealed the decision Wednesday after abruptly postponing the game between the Jazz and Thunder, and while the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks played in front of a large crowd, televised nationally on ESPN.
Other games scheduled Wednesday evening will be played, after which the NBA will suspend its season.
