Big Bear's bald eagle pair Jackie and Shadow are parents!

The eagles named Jackie and Shadow lost three eggs last month. But now Jackie has delivered a fourth.
Teri Ashmore, with the Friends of Big Bear Valley, says "we kind of assumed she might when she lost the first three in January so quickly. Her body kind of reset and started over again. They do have up to three, two-week fertile periods in a breeding season so it was and wasn't a surprise. We are happy that it happened."
Ashmore tells KNX 1070 News she expects Jackie to lay another egg later this week.
If all goes well, the eagle chicks would start hatching mid-March.
