SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KNX) — A driver is dead after their car crashed into a senior living apartment complex in a Sacramento neighborhood Tuesday morning.
Just before 2:30 a.m., a car crashed into Arbors at Oak Park, located at the intersection of Broadway and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to the Sacramento Bee.
A spokesperson for the police department told the newspaper no one inside the building was hurt; however, the driver died at the scene.
The driver's identity has not been released.
The collision did cause road closures at Broadway and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to a tweet by the police department.
The roads reopened after 9:30 a.m.
