Two passengers aboard a United Airlines flight at San Francisco International Airport were detained by police Friday after an argument over armrests deteriorated into a brawl.
The moment was shared on Twitter by Google product director Jack Krawczyk and occurred around 1:30 p.m. Friday.
The fracas caused the plane to reroute back to the gate.
It’s unclear where the flight was headed.
Neither person was injured and both were released from police custody after deciding not to "pursue further police action," authorities told SFGATE. The two passengers were not allowed to rejoin the flight.
Police did not identify either person involved in the altercation.
