SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – San Francisco police have released surveillance footage of a man who kicked an elderly woman on a Muni bus earlier this month.
On December 3 at around 11:20 a.m., a 79-year-old woman was boarding the 38 Line coach at Geary Boulevard and Laguna Street in Japantown when a man kicked her in the stomach, knocking her down.
The victim hit her head on a railing as she fell to the ground. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene on foot. Police described him as a Black man in his 20s or 30s, about 5'11" tall, with dark hair and dark facial hair. He was last seen wearing a burgundy hooded sweater and black pants.
The San Francisco Police Department is asking for anyone who may have seen the man to contact the 24-hour tip line at 415-575-4444.
