SAN JOSE, Calif. (KNX) — A San José daycare employee was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
San José Police Department arrested 62-year-old Julio Carrasco-Diaz on multiple child sexual abuse charges on Nov. 22. A victim said they were sexually assaulted by Carrasco-Diaz from 2011 through 2019 at the daycare. The victim was under the age of 14.
Officials have not disclosed the name of the daycare.
Authorities believe there could be more victims due to Carrasco-Diaz’s employment status at the time of the abuse, according to a press release.
He was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
