Warriors' Draymond Green suspended indefinitely after striking Suns' Jusuf Nurkic

The NBA suspended Draymond Green indefinitely on Wednesday after the Golden State Warriors star struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the head on Tuesday night, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

It marks the second suspension this season for Green, who was ejected from the game following the incident, his third ejection of the season.

Per NBA insider Shams Charania, Green is expected to received counseling and work with the Warriors and NBA to meet a criteria before returning to play.

Green, who has garnered a reputation through his career for his physicality which, at times, crossed a line, apologized to Jurkic after the game and said it was not intentional.

Through 15 games played this season, Green is averaging 9.7 points, 5.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds per game.
