2 killed in fiery Wilmington crash

Firefighters who put out flames that engulfed a vehicle in Wilmington Monday morning found two people dead inside.

The crash was reported at 2:13 a.m. Monday at 1300 N. Alameda St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Nicholas Prange.

"Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames upon arrival," Prange said. "Sadly, they found two occupants deceased inside the vehicle. Age and gender were not able to be identified."
