The world is full of distractions and the biggest one of all seems to reside in your pocket. Your cell phone connects you to the entire world, but people have a hard time spending ANY time away from it.
Which is what led a designer from South Korea to a novel idea.
He built a robotic third eye that sticks to your forehead that will scan for obstacles and allow you to walk and use your cell phone uninhibited and without fear of running into anything.
According to Reuters, the robotic eye, which even blinks, will alert you when you're walking within five feet of an obstacle.
The designer, 28-year-old Paeng Min-wook, said the device is meant to be satire, and hopes it shows people how ridiculous their smartphone addiction is.
