DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Another candidate has announced she's running for Dallas mayor, and she's no stranger to politics.
Alyson Kennedy, who ran for President in 2016 as the Socialist Workers Party candidate, admits she's facing an uphill battle but believes a socialist message resonates with a lot of people right now.
Originally from Indianapolis, she moved to Dallas last year.
During the 2016 Presidential race she was on the ballot in only 7 states and received about .01 percent of the vote.
