FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A driver in Fort Worth is dead after a fiery crash, and police say that person may have been fleeing another crash.
This happened when the driver hit a bridge support on Morningside and Main Street west of I-35W in southern Fort Worth around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Official say the driver died when the car caught fire.
However, police say that person was involved in a hit and run nearby at Hemphill and Bowie Street.
The suspect reportedly drove away after hitting another driver, but that driver followed and stayed on the phone with police while chasing the suspect.
The chase ended when the suspect crashed and was killed.
