DALLAS (1080 KRLD) -An ambulance taking a patient to the hospital was hit by a truck Sunday evening in Deep Ellum, injuring four people. Dallas Fire Rescue says the ambulance was hit around 6 p.m. Sunday.
Dallas Fire Rescue says the ambulance was transporting a patient when it was hit near 1st Avenue and Exposition Avenue.
Two paramedics and an intern in the ambulance were taken to the hospital as a precaution, but Dallas Fire Rescue says all three should be okay.
The driver of the truck also went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Another ambulance was called and took the patient the rest of the way to the hospital.
