FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) -- With Boeing 737 Max jets still grounded, American Airlines has been forced to cancel more flights now extending into early December.
That's a month longer than earlier announced. The Max jets have been grounded since March following two deadly crashes in a five-month period.
American figures to cancel about 140 flights-a-day through December 3rd.
American plans to contact passengers whose flights are canceled, offering them a chance to re-book or request a refund.
The federal government has not said when it expects to clear the Max jets for service.
