ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - A grenade launcher is among the weapons confiscated by Arlington police in a raid last week.

Police say Fernando Gonzalez was captured along with a cache of firearms and other weaponry when Arlington police executed a search warrant Friday night.

More details were given by Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson yesterday.  A photo tweeted by Johnson shows body armor, drugs, ammo, pistols, a rifle and what he describes as a 37-millimeter grenade launcher.

The weapons themselves are not illegal to possess but if it turns out Gonzalez is a felon, he would normally be prohibited from having them.

Excellent detective work over the last few months. Officers seized several illegal firearms, illicit drugs, and a 37 mm grenade launcher during a search warrant. The suspect was arrested!  We will continue to focus on guns, drugs and known offenders. pic.twitter.com/OiphPxekM8
